Uh, so, yeah… I’m 20 as of today. Weird. On a side note, you know you’re in an art block when a speed paint of a present is beyond your abilities. Although I was experimenting with the mixer brush. Anyone who can use that tool to some level of decency has my respect.

The next frame in the colour meme~! This was loosely inspired by a vocaloid song called Filozofio -Другой- (the lyrics talk about a black and white world where only the sky is blue and all of the people and animals are black, while the speaker/singer alone is white). Oh look, it’s Eva again. It didn’t turn out the way I wanted it to, but working small is hard for me.

I actually had a really productive day today! I spent the day frantically finishing off my first ever commission (!!), then I felt so good after finishing that and having it so well-received, I decided to jump in and start on that colour meme that was floating around a few months ago, as I’d love to get a better grip on colour (in other words, the colour scheme isn’t mine). Needless to say I quickly found out I don’t know how to paint people. But hopefully by the end of this meme, I’ll have improved! (:

On a side note, Eva’s hair is brown… But if you think I have a clue how to show that with only yellows and greens…

My mum turned 49 today C: So I speedpainted this to put on a card for her:

The background is transparent, which for whatever reason I think is rather nifty. Despite being unhappy with it people around here think it’s brilliant, including mum, so all is well. Since it’s a gift, it gets watermarked. Trust me, I don’t think anyone would steal it xD
