It’s been a while since I used Flash. I can’t draw proper pictures in there, but cartoony ones are fun.

I’ve been drawing less than I had hoped. However, my sister spent the last couple of weeks house-sitting for a cat breeder who’s daughter she often babysits. They were the most adorable kitties and, having no idea how to draw cats, I thought it would be a good exercise to try sketching them. I only managed to sketch them when they were sleeping, but it was fun.  Just ignore the other drawings. (Click for larger)

While I was drawing the first night, one of the kitties, a ginger cat called Cosmo, became all curious about my sketchbook, even licking it a bit I think, then eventually decided to jump into my lap (my legs were crossed) and fall asleep there. It was adorable <3

I couldn’t stop one of the other kitties from licking this page.

So there you have it, and now I can draw cats (well, kittens) slightly better than I could before, yay.

I was meaning to do something completely different when I started out procrastinating drawing this.

Alternative background colour, since the the other is hard to make out. It makes the fact that it’s really messy more obvious, though, as well as changing the mood. I like the other one more :’D

Someone said something on Facebook that really ticked me off, because it showed that he only looks at girls for, well, to get them into bed, something that really annoys me in any gender. So in a fit of rage I set pencil to paper and ended up with this. I need to stop drawing myself…

It’s inked, but I still have to add some detail to the shirt and line weighting. If it comes out well, which I’m hoping it will, I’ll probably use it as a profile picture or a much-needed updated ID on dA or something.
